The Chattanooga Association of REALTORS® understands that even a small change in legislation or policy can bring monumental changes to the way you do business and our rights as property owners.

Our Government Affairs Department was designed to be your advocate, influencing regulatory bodies at the local, state, and national levels. Allowing REALTORS® to participate in the process concerning issues important to them is the first step in developing sound public policy.

Our issues are important issues. And REALTORS® have a substantial role to play in working to advance the quality of life in the community. We will continue to advance initiatives that will result in the continued protection of private property rights, promote economic development, and maintain a pro-business environment conducive to the practice of real estate.

Members of the Chattanooga Association of REALTORS® are encouraged to get involved as we work to monitor public affairs at all levels and take action to defend the industry and rights to own, use, and transfer real property.
